WEEK 11 - Final Iteration

Design Brief:

Over the next two weeks you will finalize your design through model, draw, and perspectives as we bring the design phase to a close.

Duration:

Week 11 - Week 12

Grading:

Rigor, Iteration & Investigation: 80%

Students will demonstrate a willingness to practice the craft of exhaustive exploration.

Design Communication: 20%

Students will be able to professionally communicate by writing, speaking and creating clear and accurate presentation graphics and architectural orthographic drawings.

Deliverables:

Your program development must include the following:

  • Iterative “final” model and site

  • 4 perspectival images capturing key moments

  • Iterative final orthographic and isometric drawings

  • Presentation of layout and iterations

  • Final design statement and spatial narrative


WEEK 13 - Final Critique

Design Brief:

Finalize all work and produce final deliverables.

Week 13 - Week 14

Grading:

Rigor, Iteration & Investigation: 20%

Students will demonstrate a willingness to practice the craft of exhaustive exploration.

Design Communication: 80%

Students will be able to professionally communicate by writing, speaking and creating clear and accurate presentation graphics and architectural orthographic drawings.

Your program development must include the following:

  • Plans

  • (2) Sections

  • (4) Elevations

  • (1) Wall Section

  • (1) Isometric Drawing of your Choice

  • (2) Interior Renderings

  • (2) Exterior Renderings

  • (2) Diagrams

  • Concept Diagram

  • Model on site

  • Model of one structural bay

  • All previous work produce in no more than 3 supporting boards

  • Design Statement


WEEK 15 - Dossier

Design Brief:

Produce and submit your final dossier of your work from the start of the semester to the end. This is due at our final meeting.
